This project, branded “an API for the body”, involved using assistive hardware to control limbs that were otherwise non-functional for the patient. It was featured on Yahoo! News and appeared in Italian media. In preparation for the launch, I created a logo to include in the press kit and business cards.

This project started with using open source designs for mechanical assistive devices. The digital part made use of open source libraries. In this open source sprit, I thought that would be a good place to start for a logo design. The silliness of the hands and feet seems to pair well with the unsettling nature of one’s body being remote controlled.
